Three levels of recording Halachos in Chumash A. explicitly and in detail, like Korbanos (גופי תורה) B. things that are hinted in the Chumash and the rest we learn in Torah SheBaalPeh (הררים התלויים בשערה), C. ideas that are NOT AT ALL in Torah ShbiKsav, similar to Halachis LiMishe MiSinai (אותיות פורחות באויר ואין להם על מה שיסמוכו). 2) Korbanos are in the first class. But why TWO Parshiyos, and why must each idea be repeated twice? In Vayikra you have ALL the Korbanos (עולה, מנחה, שלמים, חטאת, עולה ויורד, אשמות) and then again in Tzav you have them ALL זאת תורת העולה, המנחה, החטאת, האשם, זבח השלמים why?? RaShI, RaShbaM, RaMbaN, Siforna (we’ll revisit him next week IYH). My thought: Vayikra- like Tefilla, Tzav- like Torah (example see beginning of הלכות אישות להרמב”ם and the Rebbe’s Sicha on the idea of קודם מתן תורה…).
