Two levels are described in the first P’sukim of our Parsha. Avos had Sheim Shakai, and Moshe was given (for Yidden) Sheim Havaya. 1) VaAira el HaAvos, how much we got from the Avos as a ‘sign’ from them to us which is not only a sign but a provision of power to achieve, in all three kavim (chesed, gevura and tiferes) and also in golus, 2) Moshe and Mattan Torah gave us Havaya which is higher than all the Avos gave us. It is the Giluy of Mochin which will be revealed when Moshiach comes. This is achieved during (the darkest) time of Golus that brings Moshiach and therefore this Golus has a Ma’ala even over the times of Moshiach it ushers in; as any cause is stronger than what it affects.
